We’re happy to share that the Academic Publishing Workshop took place on 18 March 2026 at RWTH Aachen in collaboration with MDPI. We would like to thank MDPI for making this opportunity possible at RWTH Aachen University. It was a great chance to gain insights from experienced MDPI representatives and speakers on how to write scientific papers and how to work with publication guidelines.

Many thanks also to our speakers: Prof. Dr. Joan Josep Sunol from the University of Girona, who joined us online and shared valuable insights, as well as Dr. Talal Al Samman (Chair of Materials Physics and Institute for Physical Metallurgy and Material Physics, RWTH Aachen University), who shared his experience and expertise in person.
